Tension as a starting point
Most people who carry chronic tension in their shoulders, jaw, or abdomen have learned to treat it as background noise. This program starts from a different premise: that physical tension is often the most accessible entry point for understanding and working with anxiety. The body holds patterns that the mind has learned to overlook.
Somatic and breath-based methods
The intensive combines somatic awareness exercises with structured breath practices drawn from established mindfulness and relaxation traditions. Participants learn to identify where tension concentrates in their own body, how it relates to specific thought patterns, and which techniques are most effective for their individual profile. Sessions are small, with a maximum of 14 participants, to allow for genuine feedback and adjustment.
Daily practice expectations
This is an intensive format, which means the time commitment is higher than a standard course. Participants should expect to spend 30 to 40 minutes daily on guided and independent practice. The program is not suitable for those who cannot maintain this commitment for four consecutive weeks, as continuity is central to the approach.
Realistic outcomes
Participants who complete the full program generally develop clearer awareness of their own tension-anxiety cycle and a set of practical techniques they can apply independently. The degree of change varies between individuals and depends substantially on consistency of practice. No specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed.
